Pro Bono activity
Pro Bono (from Latin pro bono publico = "for public good")
- a term for professional services performed voluntarily and free of charge in the public interest.
Pro bono work is a crucial part of PATH Law activity.
PATH Law is a partner of the Wadowice Junior Jazz Festival. Our firm has funded a scholarship at the Berklee College of Music in Boston for: Marta Wajdzik, a young saxophone player who was the winner of the 2019’s edition of the Festival, Filip Dubowski, Jan Kusz and Piotr Pałka, who won the 2021, 2022 and 2023 editions, respectively. They are also recipients of the PATH Law legal assistance programme for young talents.
In 2022 PATH Law was also a main partner for Virtuosa Foundation, a foundation which focuses on development of one of the oldest and most prestigious children hospital in Poland (Child Health Center).
In the years 2017-2021 PATH Law acted as a legal guardian of the Opera Academy. The Opera Academy is a programme for young talents. The Grand Theatre and Polish National Opera have been for years implementing a programme to support the career of young and talented opera artists..
