- a term for professional services performed voluntarily and free of charge in the public interest.
PATH LAW – a partner of Grand Theatre and Polish National Opera
Since May 2017 PATH LAW has been acted as a legal guardian of the Opera Academy. The Opera Academy is a programme for young talents. The Grand Theatre and Polish National Opera have been for years implementing a programme to support the career of young and talented opera artists.
Piotr Augustyniak and Tomasz Hatylak believe that culture and art greatly contribute to the building of a conscious society. They think of business activity as being something more than just law and taxes. Culture is a perfect area for such a symbiosis of art and law to take place, and the cooperation with the National Opera is the perfect coincidence that could have happened.
The aim of the Opera Academy is to build a bridge between education and professional life for outstanding talented singers. Young singers, who are just at the beginning of their professional career, should make sure that their interests are safeguarded as early as possible. Hence, the idea of PATH LAW providing young singers from the Opera Academy with an offer of legal support.
We would like students of the Academy to treat legal awareness and protection of their interests in business terms. Our task is to teach them what they should pay attention to and how to secure their success in terms of law. The voice of a singer - something that seems to be so ephemeral - also represents a value in the legal market. And a key to success is the right decision.
