His areas of expertise include international tax law with particular focus on the avoidance of double taxation, tax planning and settlement of international tax disputes in the scope of CIT and PIT.
For over 12 years, in the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Poland he was a Chief Negotiator for Polish treaties on the avoidance of double taxation (almost 60 negotiations conducted) and tax information exchange agreements (FATCA, CRS). As the Head of Tax Policy Department in the Ministry of Finance he was responsible for the development and application of the Tax Code provisions, implementation of mineral extraction tax and Act on Special Hydrocarbon Tax. He was supervising the development and implementation of general anti-avoidance rule (GAAR).
For years, as a delegate of the Republic of Poland, he cooperated with the OECD Committee on Fiscal Affairs, working groups of the EU Council and UN, particularly in the scope of the avoidance of double taxation, tax information exchange, preferential tax regimes and transfer pricing.
Lecturer at International Tax Strategies Postgraduate Studies and Transfer Pricing and Tax Management Postgraduate Studies at the Warsaw School of Economics.

- Since 2013 he has been a member of the UN Committee of Experts on International Cooperation on Tax Matters and in 2017 he was appointed a Vice Chair of this Committee.
- In 2010–2017 he was a member and Secretary of the State Examination Commission for Tax Advisers.
